The Government is strengthening information on the different types of masks:
Faced with the Covid-19 crisis, the government mobilized and created two categories of masks for non-sanitary use:
Individual masks for use by professionals in contact with the public
The use of these masks is intended for people who meet the public in the course of their professional activities (police officers, gendarmes, cashier's hostesses, etc.). They have filtering properties on the particles emitted of three microns compatible with this use.
Protective masks for collective use to protect an entire group
These masks are intended for use by individuals who have occasional contact with other people in the professional context. This mask may be worn by all individuals in a sub-group (company, department, etc.) or in the presence of other individuals wearing masks of another category, when the position or working conditions require it. Their filtering properties on the particles emitted of three microns provide additional protection to barrier gestures.
